hey there Friends and Neighbours.

Well were back from the trip of a lifetime, but loved it so much, were doin it again in 2 years.

If you do nothing else in youre lifetime, you have to visit the South. Its just wonderful and folks are wonderful and so ready to help and make you at home.

We arrived in Nashville and the next day, hit the recording studio. Met dan drilling. A nice guy and a great musician. They gave me 2 days to put down my vocals on 13 songs and I achieved it in 4 hours with breaks. Im happy with my outcome and look forward to repeating the whole thing again in a couple of years. I already have another producer in mine. I think he will be awesome... I will keep you posted on that.

Well we cruised through nashville, Hands of Fame, Ryman theatre, (got up and sang Walkin after Midnight ) The tour party loved it and the guy taking the photos was suitably impressed... It was a moment in time for me, to stand where my idol the late great Miss Patsy Cline had stood...

We hired a car and cruised to Chatanooga and saw the aquarium.. 5 stories height. WOW incredible...

Onto Ruby falls... 1 mile underground and walked for 1 km. The end result was majic. ( I will post pics for ya to see.

Onto Pigeon Forge and the Smokey Mountain... Oh the scenery... so reminded me of NZ... Lush , Green. Saw kids in the bak of Pickup Trucks... no problem there and everyone talking on a mobile phones while driving... but I have to say. they are extremely considerate drivers and over 5000 miles neve saw one accident. They have 4 way stop signs, and the first one to the stop sign, has right of way!!! Could you imagine that here... Oh lord!!!

Down to Memphis and visit our friend the King. Graceland is not as big as you are led to believe, but is remarkeable and still a huge attractions today. It was a very poignant moment, especially for Gordon. He is a lover of Elvis. We saw a drug bust in Memphis... Exciting... Gordon took Pics,,, as you do!!!!! Sunstudios OHOHOHOH WOW... Steeped in History and the tour guide was excellent.. To hear the voices of Elvis, Jerry,Johnny etc in the studio was memorable... A must see for all... Then onto Beale Street. The main hub of music and blues. Saw a band called the Dempseys.. Rockabilly.... They were bouncing off the walls... It was bike night , the night we were there. I have never seen so many trikes and bikes in my life. (Bikies also and enthusiast) No one botheres with the bikies and they just mingel... Not sure why we make such a song and dance over here. Harleys Galore....

A sight to behold... You blokes would die and go to heaven.!!!!!!!!!

Ever seen a V8 Trike... Well you dont know what youre missin...
